Carl Auer is a freelance photographer based out of South Central Alaska since 2003. With almost 20 years of photography experience, Carl specializes in sports, news, wildlife and event photography as well as many other forms of photography.

Carl's clients include European PressPhoto, the Associated Press, ESPN.com, ESPN the Magazine, MaxPreps, Corbis, Icon SMI, NewSport, the Alaska Zoo, Woodland Park Zoo, the Seattle Times, 2005 Miss Alaska Rebecca Hayes as well as many youth sports leagues and various newspapers throughout Alaska. Carl is Alaska's first SportsShooter member and strives to capture the highest quality images every time he picks up a camera.
